Families grow and they move to bigger places. That - for all of us who are not Hongkies or Japs - is one of the rarely questioned wisdoms in our lives. And it's only a matter of spawn before nine-hundred square feet become a few square feet too few. Thewife wants a swanky apartment in the cool parts of town - yes, she the valedictorian from the School of Practical Decisions. I however want an old-fashioned rambling house with a garden and enough space to put two cars, a barbecue pit, a vegetable patch, a mango tree and maybe even a vintage hobby car. Would I move to be burbs for this? I just might.
