I've learned that hindsight is a false teacher. In fact, it never teaches us anything other than regretting good honest decisions made with the best thoughts based on the maximum information we had. Hindsight teaches us squat. We almost always make the best decisions given what we know. It's real life that's doesn't hold up its end of the deal - of being predictable. But that is what it is.
